In Quebec, in the Upper Laurentians, there is a place called “Devil’s Mountain.” In winter, seasonal workers looking for good pay settle there. To keep out the competition, they spread a legend about a mysterious danger that lurks for newcomers: not all of them will leave in the spring. But, as is well known, in the forest, the only predator to fear is man, or… WOMAN.
